apart from randomly bumping into walls is there a better way to find them especially in later lvls as maps becomes larger and more complicated so checking all walls takes too much time. Also read on forum that some doors need to be open (yes/no?).Can you post some tips about it as you did in question about golden guirdian?

My ideas about it:

1) you can see the quantity of hidden rooms if open a map

2) (preferable) you can find a map with them dropping from the strongest monster on the floor or the biggest mob.

Yes, sometimes you can see a spark on a wall. That means there is a secret room behind that wall. But it is somewhat difficult to notice that spark.

There are locked doors on boss levels. You need to unlock them in order to access secret rooms.

Where to find and how to unlock one of those doors?

After defeating Minotaur you can go to northern room and exit level. However if you go to south-eastern corner of the northern room, you'll hear click sound and gears icon will be rotated for a short period above your personage. This switch unlocks hidden door to Minotaur's reading room, which now can be found by inspecting walls in main room.

Well, that is an option, after all rooms are counted for level, there is even achievement for visiting all rooms on level (it is not yet in public release, but should be available in one of next versions). However, I think idea with finding map is a better option. In fact, we've magic scrolls in plans, therefore it can be implemented as one of those scrolls.
